Italy: 17th - 22nd Nov part 10 (Venice)

On our first (and only) evening in Venice (Thursday), once we were settled into our hotel, we went for a walk along the promenade to the San Marco (square). We prowled around the square and the back streets, found a wonderful mask shop, a gondola park, and on our way out of the square, an appealing cafe where we stopped for a hot chocolate and other sweet things.
